Nobody dreams of being a property tax attorney when they are young.  Thus my journey to becoming a property tax attorney is not linear.  My path began with an interest in biology in high school, and continued with my graduating college wanting to be a patent lawyer.  So I started graduate school (two programs at once, actually) and pursued a PhD in cell/molecular biology while also pursuing a JD in law.  Upon graduating law school in 2008 - a terrible year to graduate law school - I ended up finishing my biology program with just a masters degree and taking work where I could find some.  That lead to me doing transactional legal work which I did for about 12 years until 2020 - an equally terrible year to be scrounging for legal work.  But this led to me working with my brother, another attorney in the family, who focuses on helping businesses lower their property tax liability.  In doing that work I found I really enjoyed saving clients money on their property taxes!  Ever since I have chosen to focus on working with home owners to lower their home assessments through appeal and thereby lowering their tax liability.  Contact me today and see how my desire to save you money can lead to a lower tax bill.
